Shengfa proudly offers a wide array of wire mesh woven from precious metal. These precious metals are intended for use in specific, high performance applications and are available for purchase through special order. Below, please find a brief description of some of our most requested precious metals. If you require any other special alloy not find here, please contact us for more information. Be sure to contact us with your specific requirements.

Nickel 200/201

Well-suited to operating temperatures over 600°F, this commercially pure nickel product will resist a wide range of corrosives. Because of its excellent mechanical characteristics, it has wide application in the electronic and aerospace industries. Also suitable for chemical and caustic handling equipment and piping, magnet  strictive devices and food processing equipment.

MOLYBDENUM

Composed primarily of Molybdenum (99.95%) with other trace elements, Molybdenum is an extremely versatile metal that can be used in high-temperature environments. As a woven wire mesh, Molybdenum exhibits excellent ductility and a high melting point. It can commonly be used in heating elements and electronic applications.

TITANIUM

Titanium is a transition metal that is lustrous, silver-white in color and exhibits low density and high strength. In the wire mesh industry, there are two generally specified types of titanium – grade 1 and grade 2 – and both offer extremely high levels of corrosion resistance. Grade 1 Titanium and Grade 2 Titanium are considered commercial pure as they both are comprised of 99+% titanium, with trace elements of nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, iron and oxygen. Titanium is a popular metal for use in a wide array of industries, including aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, marine and medical due to many of its unique characteristics.

TUNGSTEN

Tungsten is an extremely hard metallic element that can be woven into wire mesh and wire cloth. Tungsten has an extremely high melting point and is corrosion resistance in many harsh environments.

FECRALY

Fecraly is a special alloy that is normally only available through custom manufacturing. As the name indicates, it is comprised of Iron (Fe), Chromium (Cr), Aluminum (Al) and Yttrium (Y). The trace amount of Yttrium inhibits scaling.

Typically, applications include those in high temperature and/or highly corrosive environments.
